Ah, the arrogant, racist H1B managers and hiring authorities at Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and scores of other DC Metro tech shops will have to interview Americans first.

It's a start, but their control is too deep - they'll always find US worker's skill sets "technically deficient" so they can move on and hire their brothers, cousins, etc. from offshore.

The only solution, and it's painful, is a revocation of all H1B visas and a reset of the program that includes training for US workers so they can become "competitive" with the "highly skilled" offshore work force.

"Highly skilled" my ass. Companies dump "certified" network engineers and programmers on US companies eager to pay as little as possible when they have rudimentary communication and technical skills.

What he really needs to put a stop to is people coming to the US only to give birth and sticking hospitals with the bill.

At any moment, then, there are about 700,000 H-1B visa holders working in the USA.

Where I used to work, they would post open positions in the lunch room. I noticed that they were mostly asking for H1-B holders, but the pay for them being offered in the announcement was well over 100,000/year. (IT security techs)

So many of the H1 B visas are given to illegal immigrants. It's a joke really.I start missing Trump and his policies already to be honest where the only ones allowed in and out of the country were nexus card holders that have every right to move freely. I'm pretty sure we should be expecting more Mexicans and people from other poor countries. The only issue is they don't get accustomed to our idea and keep creating issues around the country.On top of that you still have Coronavirus coming inside the country.
