A huge problem in FCPS is the nurse to student ratio of 1:3,276, with nurses forced to cover 3-5 schools. The industry standard is 1:750 or 1 nurse in each school. If we looked at nurse to student ratios and racked and stacked the 50 states...FCPS would place below Utah the 49th state!

There will be an admin only dinner meeting to discuss this at Morton's/Reston on Wednesday 1-25 at 7pm. Use of the FCPS charge cards is authorized.

Meh... We also have a ton more available local services which can be easily accessed on demand vs the boonies of Buttfuck, UT and where the student ratio is lower due to fewer students.

I know each clinic has a health aide.... But what training do they get?

Hold on! I just watched the committee recording... Did Fairfax hire and pay a lobbyist to go to the Virginia Assembly to block hiring more school nurses?!
