Don't get taken in and assume the whole left party is marching. I know many liberals who said "we'll wait and see." Trump is an unknown for all, people are comfortable with the "status quo" politician and then when polls are taken as to their effectiveness....everybody gripes about how worthless they are.

This country APPEARS more divided then it really is IMO. Media plays it up, trolls on message boards play it up, keyboard warriors (because they are anonymous) like stirring the pot.

Keep yourself informed, have discussions with someone who disagrees...don't argue but listen, there is room for different outlooks on both sides.
