Ho Ho Suckers..I visited the MGM Grand the other day..And Played BIG! At Cash out I had 14 cents!! Like a Dummy..I had 3 bucks in my pocket. So I got a 20 outta the ATM..It cost me 4.99..That ATM was the Big Winner! I did notice that one option on that ATM was a quick 1000 dollar withdrawal, and the limit was 1500 or 2500 cash..Good Place to Lose a Credit Card that gives cash at a ATM without a Pin.

I settled in at a quarter slot and after loosing then winning 1.50 then 1.75..I Hit BIG..The Machine sounded like the Kentucky Derby..and I Won 7.50 ..I Cashed out..16.50..Taking my money and running Baby!! Later..I was sucked in to bet heavy..at the penny slot maching..and in fast order lost 1.86. Cutting my losses short..That was that..5.36 Gambled.. And 4.99 for the ATM 10.35 for some REAL Action That lasted all of about 10 minutes..!!

I wandered into the High Game something area and saw the 100 dollar a pop slot machines. That's the starting bet and you can raise it to I think 1000 a pop. They had 50 25 machines a few 5 dollar machines and a bunch of 10 dollar machines.

The Black Jack "Tables" were all over vthe place and not what I thought they would be like. I thought they were big black tables with about 10 or more people standing around them. These were tiny little things for maybe 5 at most players.

Ever thing that had a dealer had a "Magic Clear Plastic House Slot Machine" on their tables ..The dealer would push cash in to these slots with a sliver tool..as suckers lost.

The Roulette table was a trip, suckers put stacks of chips down on numbers, the Dealer rolled the ball into a True Professional machine..Nothing like the cheap plastic one I had as a kid..They the ball fell and danced and fell into a number..The dealer would scoop all the chips off the table in another "Magic Hole" on the table that look like a Funnell!! LOL the suckers would throw down cash and repeat "The Game". The Min bet was 15 bucks.

The Craps table were being played by Blacks and a Arab. They threw crisp 100 dollar bills down on the table. There was a Boss Man with all the chips and a "Magic Slot" and he pushed 100 dollar bills down in that slot left and right, The dice were red plastic that you could see thru.. And bigger then the toys I played with as a kid.. I wondered if the white dots were made of Lead Paint on one side.. Not with a 1..or a 6 Natch..LOL The boss man had 3 helpers two handing chips and one with a stick retrieving the dice. When I Saw The Craps table..I thought it was a "Shuffleboard Game" It Was!! The suckers put chips down and they were quickly "Shuffled" off to the Boss Man in rapid Order As They Lost!! LOL I did see the Arab win a stack of chips.. The game surface was covered in Mysterious signs..Horn High.. Others.. I had Not A Clue what they were doing..cept for the thrown down of cash in Franklin Spots..the stuffing it into the "Magic Slot" and the Boss Man collecting the chips..

There was another game called Baccaratt something..No one played this game..It looked Complicated as hell. I'm Guessing..Only people from Europe know how to play ..

The Poker room had about 30 players, plenty of tables there, you have to get in a line that did not exist and sign up to get sent to a table..Don't ask me how they play that game..I did not see any dealers But each table had chips.. Maybe they put quarters in in like Pool Tables?? I looked at the Crowd but did not See "Cool Hand Luke"..The signs said No Side Bets, No Cash and a lot of other Gibberish I did not understand..I wondered which ones were the "Sharks"..And which Ones were the "Whales" High $$ Players who cant Play Baby!! !

They were hostess that brought drinks, I saw bottled water, sodas, no beers, some were mixed drinks. I did not ask for anything nor was offered as I played the penny slot with my 2 dollars..LOL!!

I then toured the joint..Saw "Fish" a Really Super looking high end seafood place baby!! They open at 5pm and I could have Digged that Lobster Jambalaya!! The Steak House with a 120 dollar steak.. Hey! No Problem for those who can thrown Franklins down all day..!! The Food Court was high..but I could handle it, they did have a Hot Dog there!! That was the cheapest thing btheyb had and what I would have gotton cept I already had a Hobo Lunch From Giant Food and McDs on the cheap 3.75 !! Ya Baby! They had burgers, fries, shakes, Great Looking pizza by the slice, Fried Chicken, Pastrami Sandwiches and Roast beef, Sushi, Ice Cream, Real Latino Tacos, Chesapeake Bay (Imported Natch) Crab cakes, and I saw a sign that Yes There would be Crisp Fried Snakehaed Fish Coming Soon!!!! Ya Baby With Chreap Hobo Junction Beer!

The Hotel Lobby had a huge display, celebrating the Year of the Rooster!!

A Theater, A Huge Ballroom, The Hotel, A Whole lot with a Great View of the River from a outside deck. The crowd was mixed, black, whites, Asians, arabs, and all the staff was very professional and friendly.. And The blacks gave me a nod .a high there.. and Yes they were the friendly folk in the place..There wre not that many people in there..At Night probably it gets going.. And there Was NO Parking Fee baby! Nada..Maybe they Do charge on weekends..It was a exciting place to visit a good time..Gamblers will Def love the place.. Its Yes very nice..and I will be back..As A Cook!! and to play a 5 spot now and then if the Parking remains free. and get something from that Food Court too..Plus the River View on Beautiful Day .. One of many That will be coming this Spring!!

I'm going there in Inauguration Day (no work!). Hope to stop by that Outlet Mall and then do a little business at MGM.

Wow! The MGM complex is something. Huge parking structure and gigantic casino. The casino seemed bigger than any I remember on the Strip. They need more food and drink options there, given the crowds. The bathrooms are excellent. Drink service was good but no free booze for players in Maryland. Thank Martin O'Malley.

Place was packed this afternoon. Lots of prosperous African-Americans and many Asians. Some Spanish, though less prosperous-looking. Whites a small minority. No evidence at all than anyone from Fairfax County was there playing, and I saw a lot more DC plates than VA.

The video poker opportunities are terrible (few machines, few Vegas-style machines, and lousy odds) and I lost $10. Then I put $5 in a penny slot machine, hit twice in a row, and cashed out with $27. Then I split.

Will I go back? Only for another hit-and-run style trip because I like to play video poker and they barely have any. Or if they add crispy fried snakefish to the menu in the food court.
