My wife forced me to take her to MGM Grand today
Posted by: MGM Hell Hole ()
Date: December 10, 2016 10:03PM

I'm not sure she understood this casino is in the middle of the PG County hood.

So we got there about 330 pm and it was already getting rather dark. Wife was literally scared to death. Every kind of low rent low class welfare nog you could imagine. I reminded her she was the one who wanted to come here.

Saw one black whore get removed by security spewing profanities that would make a convict blush. I don't know what the Sheboon did, but when they were removing her from the lobby she pulled her skirt up around her waist and paraded around the front doors showing God and everyone her skanky pussy. Such a classy place.

Then we saw a domestic dispute between a VERY large nog woman and I guess her husband or boyfriend. Nothing physical except a thrown drink, but again the profanity that comes out of nigger mouths is truly frightening.

Pretty sure wife wont ask to go back EVER. Sometimes you just have to let them see for themselves.

All in all, not a classy place at all. The locals will destroy this place before it ever gets a rep as a gambling destination. I never thought I would say this but Charlestown has more class than this urban jungle. I will say one thing, there was a ton of cops in the casino and everywhere outside. I don't know if a gang bang was planned or what but it looked like the whole PG County police force was there. Oh and traffic was a motherfucker, both getting in and out.

End of report.

Why are these idiots so desperate to throw away their money? It's like they've never been in a casino before.

Sounds lovely. I'm going to see if my GF wants to go tomorrow.

Since there is so many nogs there, do they serve only ethnic food?

This is a lie, because MGM was requiring dinner or hotel reservations and high rollers only for the rest of the weekend to enter.

Nobody's wife "forces" them to go anywhere...except the wife of a cuck.

If my wife asks me to do something that costs the kind of money like a night at MGM, and then I have to rub elbows with black savages? My response is...feel free to go, you have your own time, money and transportation. I will not be going.

This notion that after you get married you simply must do everything with your spouse is nonsense. Maintain your own interests, your own friends...bros before hos, even after marriage. Nobody gets to come into your life and try to fucking erase everything and everybody that was there before them.

I visited last night, more out of curiosity. Parking garage was free, and they had attendants pointing us to empty spaces.

Earlier poster was correct.... overwhelmingly populated by black customers, many loud and rude.

They really need to start enforcing the no-smoking laws. Yuk.

Long lines for everything. Could not get in to any of the restaurants, and the food court was packed.

I walked past some slots but did not play. Every seat was in use, and the people playing seemed hypnotized by them. The machines are loud with flashy lights, like a video arcade on steroids.

My neighbor went yesterday and said the same thing.

The "dinner reservation or hotel reservation required" is bullshit. It was only suggested. If you pay $12 to park, you're in.

He said he will never go again. Nothing but ghetto niggers everywhere.

This place was specifically built for ghetto niggers as a way to get back some the welfare and drug money they have had handed over to them for the last 75 years.

"rift raft"? Is that anything like "riff raff"? Because, you know, English. Seems to be a self-defining term here...

LOL

It will soon turn into a place where the locals spend their whole Soc Sec and Welfare checks on the slots.

It will bring in some needed money to the local govt though. God knows way too much of the Prince George's budget goes to social programs. At least, they are getting some of it back.

My wife was a black African from Cameroons. She wasn't a big fan of black americans.

Around Christmas '03 she announced she would like to visit a Casino and have some fun. Thankfully, PG had no Casinos back then.

We had a choice of Charles Town, WV and Atlantic City.

We went to AC. It was fun but I wasted a few hundred bucks on the rigged slots.

AC was seedy, but there was a good mix of people and we encountered no problems.

It was weird seeing all the street names from Monopoly.

We knew it was rigged but it was fun to blow off a little steam.

I remember seeing an old guy blow what seemed his whole Social Security check on the Slots. LOL.

Charles Town, WV would have been a better choice.
Nice ride thru the mountains, easy parking, very spacious inside.
A much more relaxed environment.
A/C is a dump and MGM will always be a nightmare with the traffic. No way.

If you play slots, which I never do, well - slots are slots anywhere you play them.

I am curious as to whether the original poster's comment that Charles Town is classier than MGM is a fair assessment.

I know classiness is subjective, but if it is reasonable to state that Charles Town is indeed classier, MGM's is in for a miserable financial experience.

I am well educated, but don't consider myself an elitist, having come from poverty and having worked in a Teamsters union in a tough northern city to make my way through school. But Charles Town, despite having a patina of rural charms, is hardly a classy place. Not being able to see more than 20 feet away through the cigarette smoke is actually a bonus, because the sight of fixated, trance like people dressed in double knit clothing, many with surgical masks on their face, punching slot buttons over and over again, well, is something that I could easily avoid. And the food at Charles Town is awful. And if MGM has a worse ambiance (for whatever reason), I don't see how it can make it, especially given the higher costs of operation near DC than in rural West Virginia.

Baltimore was once a classy place too until whites moved out and you-know-who moved in(see above pic). On what basis would you expect MGM to be the exception to the rule considering you-know-who already live just outside the door?

The buffet at Charles Town is fine for the price.
The fast food joints are fine there as well, satisfactory.
If you come to gamble CTown is a fine place, not overcrowded, easy to park and who the heck cares about glitter. When you go to the Bellagio in Vegas do you just admire the pretty shops and clubs? Not me.

It's the easiest drive up Route 9. These are all the plus factors. You can find slots all over CT that are not that close. Horse racing as well, an extra plus. Weekdays are great there, especially with all the Marylander's and DC folks staying in Maryland.

i don't get why you people are so obsessed with "all you can eat" buffets. big deal if the new place doesn't have one, god forbid you just go to a restaurant and eat like a normal person. better yet, eat as much as you want at home before you go, it's probably cheaper and cleaner too. or bring a cooler full of sandwiches with you if you can't go more than 2 hours without stuffing your face.

Casino's are trying to attract the kind of people who bring a few thousand dollars to gamble with, not some schlub with 15 bucks in his pocket who's there to eat 30 bucks worth of "all you can eat fried seafood".

Of course. Gambling joints are big hangouts for escorts. They look for people throwing around big money.

I saw this hot chick at Charlestown, she was checking my out. Notice she went over to talk to this over girl with a strange looking man hanging on her. Then she made the comment "Well he's got me paid for, next 2 hours at least. Honey"

Just look for real slutty women standing alone.

I am reminded of the piece in the Atlantic Magazine last month about video slots being rigged by programmers to have a lot of "near misses" to make the player think he is getting close.

Since most posters here read the Atlantic magazine every month, should we have a discussion thread for the Atlantic magazine every month, and how its articles affect or reflect things or happenings in the Fairfax area?

Look, I did not mean to come off as unduly harsh on Charles Town. It is is West Virginia, and while it certainly is nowhere near luxurious, it doesn't need to be given its rural location (and expense structure).

But a huge and expensive infrastructure and complex 8 miles away from Capitol Hill? It needs upscale customers - period. Lots of them. And to even invite a comparison between Charles Town and MGM seems to me to spell financial disaster for MGM.

I think the racist comments (as typical on this site) are unfortunate, but saying that on this site is a waste of time. I just don't see how this place works financially, and am skeptical of rosy business cases over gambling enterprises, a market which is far more saturated than it has been in decades past.

The neighborhoods around there off Fort Foote road aren't bad at all. It's all older single family homes and has got a small town feel to it. The crummier parts of PG are on the east side of 210 from there.

I think it will continue to be crowded for the simple fact it is possible to get there via metro and to get to Charlestown.

Dover Downs one must drive or pay for an expensive bus ticket and a long ride to get there.

Greyhound is a 10 hour ride with a transfer (you literally have to ride to NYC and catch the greyhound BACK to Delaware, no direct route) and costs about $55 each way- so that really isn't an option.

There probably are party/charter buses but I am too lazy to google for that right now I just ate LOL.

It would be cheaper to rent a car and drive oneself that is a 2.5 hour drive (from Fairfax, VA).

Hit submit too soon, first line meant to say getting to CharlesTown you MUST drive there is no other option! This keeps the level of riff-raff down, you still get some but not as swamped as MGM is right now...

Hilarious thread. The only thing that will make it better is pics! Post em up. The Washington Post article on the MGM this morning was great. The reporter posted what it was like at 2-4am. A bunch of poor ass folks blowing their welfare checks. Pretty sad actually. No matter your skin color, that's just plain old trash. The bit about the 21 year old trying to get his mom off the slot machine so he could go home was pitiful.

Here's the link to the article while it's still alive on the internet: https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/its-4-am-at-mgm-do-you-know-where-your-money-is/2016/12/12/17419f56-c081-11e6-897f-918837dae0ae_story.html?utm_term=.e2e9d839ce23

Here's the text:

The Washington Post
By Petula Dvorak Columnist December 12

In casino world, 4 a.m. is still The Night.

That’s how gamblers greet you when you walk into the tinsel wonderworld of the region’s newest casino and you hold the elevator door open for them at this hour.

“G’night,” they say, bleary-eyed and disoriented by my “Good morning.”

Monday morning. A workday for most.

I don’t want to talk about last week’s media preview tour, or the glitzy VIP parties, the fancy restaurants, the high-end shopping, the opening-day giddiness or the insane crowds at the new, $1.4 billion MGM National Harbor on the Maryland shore of the Potomac River.

First glimpse inside the new MGM National Harbor Casino Play Video1:55
The Washington Post was given an exclusive tour of the new MGM National Harbor before its grand opening on Dec. 8. (Ashleigh Joplin/The Washington Post)
[MGM National Harbor opens with fanfare and traffic]

I want us to visit this place at the untidiest hour — way past the 2 a.m. of the pedestrian party crowd and before the early-bird brunchers.

Because 4 a.m. is the hour of truth.

This is when you see the true measure of a 24/7 casino’s impact on a community. It’s when people hermetically sealed inside the blinky lights and windowless casino world of no clocks and time charted in lost bets emerge, out of money.

“The only winning I did was at the bar, when I put my money down and actually got something,” said a man in a dapper fedora who bid me “Good night” when he finally decided to head home, broke, at 5 a.m.

And it’s when the morning work crews roll in, grateful to be among about 4,000 people with new jobs.

“It’s a really fun job,” said the cocktail waitress who was serving coffee and hot chocolate to keep the slot machine zombies going at 4 a.m., when Starbucks wasn’t open yet.

On opening weekend, the MGM had to close doors and turn people away. Their tweets begged people to come next weekend instead.

By 4 a.m. on Monday? Still buzzing, only parking was easier.

“That’s why I came now. Plus I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t stay away,” said a 53-year-old man trying to figure out the Willy Wonka slot machine in the early-morning hours of his day off.

He wasn’t alone.

The gaming floor was hopping three hours before sunrise. There was at least one player in every slot machine row, every third blackjack table was full, and even some poker tables were packed.

There were a few hipsters with fasci haircuts and ZZ Top beards at the “Walking Dead” slot machines, drinking beers. A guy in a trucker hat, leather jacket and fur-lined bedroom slippers was at the progressive blackjack table, chasing that $61,000. And the whole place was dotted with pensioners who had been up all night.

Talking to them was like talking to tweens playing video games. There was little eye contact. Flat emotion. No names, please.

“We just got here today. At 8 o’clock? Maybe 8:30?” said a woman playing a penny machine at 600 credits a hit.

“That was yesterday, Mom,” her son corrected.

She’s a retired truck driver and lives nearby, behind St. Elizabeths Hospital. She’s 55 and loves to gamble.

Her one big win — the one that usually hooks them in — was on her mind. “I won $700 once,” she told me. “It’s going to happen again. I can feel it.”

Her son, who just turned 21, wasn’t feeling it.

“I came in here with $150. Lost all of it,” he said, draped over the chair next to Mom, wilting, waiting to go home.

Down the aisle was a retired federal worker who was on her second wind at 4:30 a.m.

“I had to check what time it was before I started to drink,” she giggled and pointed to her drained vodka and juice.

She’s 66 and stays on a tight budget in her retirement years. But this, the opening of this casino, was something she prepared for. She had a room at the hotel and napped throughout the day so she could play throughout the night, even though it’s hard to tell one from the other in casino world.

“It’s beautiful,” she said, referring to the glimmering ceilings and sparkling decor. “They did such a nice job. I’m never going to Live again.”

Live is Maryland Live Casino, which is in Arundel Mills, almost an hour north of the new MGM.

All the folks I talked to were former Live customers who said the MGM will be their new spot now.

Their neighborhood casino.

For years, going to the casino in America meant a trip to Las Vegas or Atlantic City. Today, 39 states are all in.

This new MGM is Maryland’s sixth. And experts warn that six casinos won’t mean six times the profits.

“States expand gambling in the hope that they’ll mimic the successes of early adopting states,” said a recent report by the Rockefeller Institute of Government, a policy research center in New York. The “more gambling expands, the more likely it is that economic and revenue gains will be eroded due to competition.”

What is expanding? Gambling addiction. That 4 a.m. crowd.

Two years ago, only about 200 people were on the Maryland addict watch list.

That is Maryland’s Voluntary Exclusion Program, where problem gamblers can have themselves placed on a list that will get them kicked out or cited if they start playing again.

Today, that list is more than 1,200 strong. And that’s before this latest behemoth with free parking and caffeine-slinging cocktail servers opened.

The list will grow. Just watch the 4 a.m. crowd, especially when you tell them, “Good morning.”

It's not the location. It's the people I saw there.

MGM is definitely hood. No way those people dropping so much money are earning it at respectable jobs.

Now MGM doesn't care as long as their money is green.

But I don't want to be anywhere near those loud foul-mouthed people.

I love snakeheads, grilled and fried. They don't have a fishy aftertaste and they don't stink up the kitchen either. Snakeheads are difficult to catch and fishermen haven't yet learned how to supply them in large enough quantities to restaurants.

I bet you're the awkward, nerdy looking old guy who everyone in the room makes fun of. And you sit quietly and act nice and watch everything happen but you'd never say any of this to their faces.

You go to Pee Gee Cee, you see 'groids and are surprised? Until I hear the 'groids don't go there anymore, I'll just go to Atlantic City or somewhere else. The 'groids ruin everything. I've heard a hundred old people tell me when Capital Plaza opened it was a nice place. When the 'groids moved to Pee Gee Cee, they went there, terrorized the customers so they stopped coming. Then they shoplifted in every business, so the businesses had no paying customers, only shoplifters, so they went away. Now it's an empty shell.

At least they can't steal anything from the casino, since there are five hundred security guards and when they get in trouble for acting like animals and holler they dindu nuffin', nobody listens to them. There's too much money involved for anybody to listen to a bunch of complaining dindus.

Might as well put a casino in the ape cage at the zoo. Apes are more civilized than niggers.

It is amazing how the Typical American Negroid can ruin the environment for everyone, even themselves. PG county used to be a mostly decent place to live with a real mix of income levels. That was when the county was still majority white people who had fled DC when it went Negroid. As the Negroid seeped across the border like shit from a broken sewer line, the whites once again were repulsed and emigrated to further out counties. My family moved to Virginia. The school system became majority Negroid, meaning it became a place of containment, not education.

What do you mean "forced" lol? Is it even possible? Next time show her online casinos, no need to go outside any more, just make sure she doesn't play with your credit card. I won 1200$ at https://mr.bet/game/view/demo/glden-offer last week, by the way.

Read the google and yelp reviews of the hotel, casino and restaurants in the area.
Huge employer for ghetto niggers.
Real lowest of the low.
When you take something nice, put it in a predominately nigger area, it will be ruined within 4-5years.
Couple this with 40+ year old men blasting BASS from their cars, and no wonder there was already a shooting at Cadillac ranch.

Niggers need schools NOT CASINOS

This is a really hilarious story, and I hope your wife won't ask you again to take her to a casino. If she wants action or something else, she can just play online slots from home because this is also an entertaining activity. I do this all the time, and I never felt the necessity to go to a real casino because playing slots from home is just as good. If you play them right and know when to stop, I can assure you this can be a remunerative experience. Try it, maybe your wife will find the sensations she wanted.
