What am I going to do with 14 weeks of paid leave every year?

As a DC worker, I'm going to take full advantage of the 11 weeks off to care for a "sick" family member.

I don't know whether to work a second job for 3 months or head down tot eh keys and drink or both. I plan to take it in the summer for year one and the winter in year two and then I don't know what I'll do the rest of the 20 years. I'll never leave a DC job with that much free money at stake.

What you you do with all of that down time?

Well if you actually work for a Life, You like myself can take 365 days a year off Paid at that :) Now I work when I want and the Pension takes care of me. I get a raise in about 17 years when my Supplement stops and SS if its there takes over.

That's easy. Go get a second or third job to make up for the low pay of your teaching job.

We only get 8 weeks a year and I have a hard time using it all. 14 weeks would be tough to use up.
