McDonald's in Burke Closed for Remodel!

I was surprised to find the McDonald's at Lee Chapel Road and Old Keene Mill Road closed for remodeling when I went to get breakfast on Thursday. Anybody have any details on how long they will be closed? Need to get my 2000 calorie breakfast and artery clogging lunch and I refuse to eat at Quiznos! I know about the other locations but this one is the most convenient!

I still remember when it was a Roy Rogers from around 1980 until probably around 1990. They had the Breakfast buffet and who could forget the Fixin's Bar.
It was remodeled as McDonalds, and then again, when they changed the inside again.
I also remember the Burke Centre McD's when it had farm murals and pictures/theme when it opened, until probably around 1987 or 1988.
There was also a McDonalds express in the 123 Mr. Tire center shopping plaza for about 3 months, made no sense.
There was also one in Rolling Valley Mall, which became Burger King.
What else can I say?

I have known about it for over a year, was hoping to get the Glass from the room, but the manager didnt know when the work was going to start, I would guess in less than 20 days it will be open again, they do a quick remodel, it will be a standard McD Square building

The McDonalds's all seem to be disappearing. Today I noticed that the McDonalds in Springfield Plaza, next to Makek's is completely gone, without a trace! The Rolling Valley location is now a Burger King. The only McDonalds left in Burke/Springfield are at Ravensworth and Cardinal Plaza.

McDonald's has been closing a lot of locations in Burke and Springfield. This is the third one to shut down following Springfield Plaza and Rolling Valley.

I guess they are remodeling the new tiny dining area. Also putting all the old grease in large barrels for when they decide to open back up. Also they have to scrap off the old pink slime from years of abuse.

It looks like the renovation's been done for a few weeks, but they haven't open. They obviously laid off/fired all the employees. I wonder, and hope, that they're having trouble getting new employees after fucking over the ones they had.
