Nothing would make me happier DAJAX than to see Trump succeed in making things better for Americans in the next four years.
In the past though Republicans especially have had a tendency to assume "making things better for Americans" means simply making large corporations and banks more profitable and the wealthy richer. What I want to see is American workers able to get and securely keep productive jobs that allow them to get more money and live better quality lives. Trickle down had its day and it was a failure. It is time for the rising tide. If having American workers able to make enough money to have a decent quality of life, set aside reasonable amounts for retirement, cover the education of their children and not have to worry about being wiped out if they had health issues, and if having small businesses getting sufficient revenues to meet their expenses, expand their operations and provide reasonable returns for their owners also means that wealthy banks, brokers and other 1%ers can get richer in the process, GREAT.
