Costco can provide health insurance for less money than the Government, with better service and more coverage.

Imagine that.

Which will be priced the same as the same policy from any other source since the rates are set by the state insurance bureau.

Costco is just fronting for another broker and taking a commission on whatever sales.

"All insurance products are sold by Custom Benefit Consultants, Inc., Ken Bahl, NPN: 4579133"

And you won't get "Obamacare" subsidies if eligible buying off-exchange.

Anyone can currently buy prescription drugs there, member or not. My canine needed an antibiotic. Over $200 at Giant, about $50 at Costco. Nice.

ALL INSURED HEALTHCARE IS A FRAUD

ALL is the key, not Walmart (who's too happy to participate)

* real insurers accepted healthy peeople who paid over a course of a lifetime - who were most always employed. it's impossible to make money when people only sign up for insurance when they know they are getting sick

* congress made rules that insurers MUST ACCEPT sick patients. insurance has been a scam fraud ever since; any reasonable insurer left the market at that time (they sued congress, lost). risen from the ashes of

* gov workers (congress) fraud they make deals with insurers for "cover ups" to get free insurance

it's exactly why the American Medical Association fought the formation of insured healthcare - they saw it coming: rich people living in the ashes of legitimate business in a pyramid scheme, people who don't pay for health care and get it, while others have serious problems and can't pay any reasonable ammount for a proffesional to help: because prices are jacked up to hell, ie, $1000 to get a saline solution injected or a heart beat check or a bottle of pills for a deadly condition

health insurance is not profittable because insurers MUST accept patients who only pay the month they are sick and get care

if you don't realize that's a problem: YOUR A FUCKING LOOSER

If there is one area of our economy where the marketplace should set prices based on supply and demand it's healthcare.

IN THE USA (moreso in socialist countries)

1/2 the doctors never see a patient, they get paid by government because they are deemed "way too important to be poor researchers"

of the 1/2 the doctors that work for a living, only 1/100 do critical surgery (mostly heart surgery, cancer removal, critical injury)

--------------------

despite that insurers are in debt and Congress gets free insurance for being "the organizers" ...

you never see a doctor in a lower class neighborhood because patients are not paying*. they always somehow end up in the larger newer houses even though they are NOT turning a dime.

(* ie, signing up for insurance only while they need care, then discontinuing, which used to be illegal before bill clinton)

in the 70's 80's you could find a doctor in a lower class neighborhood who "was working for a practice but saving to buy his own - for better pay - complaining you have to own a practice to make any real money"

in the 2000s, in democrat areas like fx co gov, the gov is buying illegals practices using gov money - and using this to get gov workers free healthcare that doesn't come out of their paycheck in exchange

Congresspersons and most of their staffers get their health care through a DC Obamacare exchange.

Wrong. They go to the Executive Medicine Clinic on the Ground Floor of the America Building at Walter Reed in Bethesda.

Walter Reed does not sell health care cover. And once they have that through the DC Obamacare exchange, Congresspersons and staffers can go to whatever providers their plans allow them to.

There is no public option, dummy. One huge reason is that private insurers know full well that they could not even begin to hope to compete with a public option. They would all simply be blown out of the water. Stop being so freaking dense.

Only because a "public option" would lose 100s of billions of dollars/year and they wouldn't care.

Wake yup, Dopey. The insurance companies themselves whined that they wouldn't be able to compete back when Harry Reid was thinking about putting a public option into the Senate version of PPACA. Everyone who knows the ropes knows that they were exactly wight. They can't compete. Private healths insurance is merely an increasingly unaffordable luxury. If it weren't for the lives and jobs that would be lost, we could just wipe out the private health insurance industry tomorrow and only be better off for it.

If the availability of health insurance convinces some people to return to the work force, then we are already making America great again.
