I'm new to the area. Can anyone recommend a good bakery between Reston Centreville Chantilly Fairfax for a baby shower cake?

Thank you for any insight.

I like the premium cupcakes at Harris Teeter. (Usually I hate store cakes.)

You're right, it would have been so much more original if I had called the OP gay or made a completely illogical tie to politics. What was I thinking?

OR you could have listed a good bakery and move on. no one forced you to click this completely interesting subject on bakeries if you already know all about them. dont call the OP gay that's just mean. and politics has everything to do with a bakery. good night to you madam.

I second Cafe Rumi. You will not find a better cake in the area. Very classy, high end, imported ingredients, and the baker bakes for the best hotels in the area. Victoria's Bakery cakes are very heavy and oily. I wasn't a fan. You won't be disappointed with Cafe Rumi. Get the White Chocolate Truffle cake and come back here to let us know what you think.

If you want a real bakery.............go to Jersey or Philly. There is NO decent bakery in this area!

I only go to NJ or Philly to get my big hair/ giant hoop earrings/ and acid wash jeans on. I think we have some decent local bakeries around here though.
