Cocaine

Is there anywhere around here where I can try this new cocaine (brand) energy drink?

Tastes like cherry jolly ranchers, 350% caffeine of red bull, has a throat-numbing agent, uses dextrose instead of corn syrup?

According to this article it's currently only available in LA and NYC. "Throat numbing agent"- what the fuck, what's that for?

I'd love to have some cans of that stuff the next time I get a sore throat. My son says that stuff is for young people who go to clubs and just want to stay up all night. I think red Bull is like that too. I am sure that it will soon be sold here. It's being tested in a few areas. I read about it in US Magazine. I bet Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton will use it all the time.

Interesting, looks like the can has a trademark for the word "cocaine" Why buy the drink, just slam some caffeine pills, some sugar cubes and red dye- same thing.

you cannot trademark a word. you can however trademark an image associated with your company. the trademark is specifically for the image of Cocaine written in that font which is then considered an image. if you are microsoft, you can trademark a font as well because if you use the font that they use to spell microsoft they will sue your ass into the next decade.

You can trademark a word. Nike, Buick, Microsoft, etc. are all word trademarks.

You're confusing copyright and trademark.

Damn, 151 proof rum? Thats 50.5 percent alcohol! I think 200 proof is illegal and the highest is like 180 proof home brew

Everclear (illegal in VA but not in NC or WV) is something like 195-199 proof. It actually doesn't have much taste and mixes well with everything.

KeepOnTruckin, Math lesson:
151/2=75.5, hence 151 is 75.5 percent
50.5 * 2 is 101

maybe he lives in another country

proof = ethanol X 2 is the american way, although it's hard to fuck it up since the percentage of alcohol has to be printed with the proof.

In college we had a Frat party with some girls and spiked the punch with everclear, called purple passion punch. There is not enough space for me to post the stuff I saw that night.

I warned a bunch of girls but since they couldn't really taste the stuff in the punch they slammed a lot of it. Everclear is powerful stuff!

Everclear was always available in PA liquor stores back in the early 90's, I'm actually shocked to hear that there are states that have banned it.

I read somewhere that eludes me that in several instances use of small amounts has caused harm to people, so certain jurisdictions banned it based merely on the possibility it can be abused easily due to the low flavor and lead to injury/death.

Long and short: a few morons spoiled it for the rest by overdoing it.

Everclear is just grain alcohol, or moonshine on which the taxes have been paid.

The 'shine my hillbilly cousin makes is MUCH better....cheaper too!

You can get everclear in DC, I almost bought a bottle there a while ago maybe a year ago. In VA you need a culinary license to posses it though because of the alcohol content. It's banned in quite a few states actually. According to Wiki

"It is illegal to purchase the 190 proof version in many U.S. states such as Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Washington, California, Michigan, Ohio, Florida, Virginia and West Virginia (as of November 2005)."

kinda like absinthe being illegal in the US except for certain watered down versions that arent nearly as good as the original.

Ive tried Cocaine the beverage in the UK. Its not bad. Just like downing an entire bottle of sugar and chasing it with a Starbucks Latte.

Coca Cola may take an issue with the Cocaine drink as the Coca in Coca Cola specifically refers to the Cocaine that was originally part of the drink when it first started.

Absinthe...REAL absinthe is legal in Md its expensive.
