5 month old Fairfax baby DOA at hospital

UPDATE, Oct. 20, 10:27 a.m.
The infant who died in this incident has been identified as 5-month-old male Jaquarius Watkins-el, according to the coroner’s office.
The child died just after 10 a.m. Oct. 20 in the hospital. Both the boy’s cause and manner of death are listed as pending, awaiting test results.

Police in Fairfax are investigating after an infant has died.
Medics were called this morning to the Fair Oak Arms Apartments on the report of an infant in distress.
Police were able to find the correct apartment, located on the ground floor, quickly as it was the only one with a Stronger Together yard sign.
Police tell us medics transported the baby to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police said there are obvious signs of foul play and criminal behavior, but an investigation is ongoing.
