Yorkshire Restaurant is Great

This place is a mile after Fairfax County Line.

The food is great and reasonably priced.

Like Soul Food.. Sounds good if it is..Baby! Rice and Gravy, Greens ,Fried Chicken.

This place is the best! The waffles and sausage gravy are awesome. Staff is always friendly.

Is Yorkshire just another Greek "family owned" joint? Like Spartan's, Anthony's, Delia's, and many others? They're all the same. Might even be the same "family".

The Greek joints are OK, but if Yorkshire is the same as all the other Greek joints, I'll stick with the ones closer to me.

It's very good. Not a Greek family owned type place. More along the lines of "comfort" food. Great burgers and sandwiches, their biscuits and sausage gravy (SOS) is great. Definitely worth going to. I do think it's family run ad they seem to have "regulars" that go in and hang out talking with the staff and cooks.

Yorkshire is basically a diner.

Their food is cooked by the Momma and Brothers.

Soups Homemade

Waffle and Pancake Batters Home Made.

Salads Homemade.

Barbeque Homemade

The Top Hat Sandwich is great.

Pies and Cakes Homemade.

Their coffee is from a Roaster In Alexandria. Its great.

A good place. .good food.. good people good prices.. Lousy sucky friggin neigborhood... location difficult to get in and out of when traffic is heave.. which is most of the time.. but i do wish them well..
