MVHS Rates are up.. Because Teachers are banned from giving any grades lower than a 53%

a clear instance of the "soft bigotry of low expectations" - a favorite pursuit of the liberal school establishment - give 'em all grades good enough to promote them to the next grade regardless of what they know. It won't hurt 'em...
It's fucked up to allow kids who can't read or write or do sums to graduate - just so some administrator or principal can brag about the X% graduation rate.
Teach the kids and demand accountability!

Yep, we can't give a student an F.
Some students can do nothing but nod and smile when answering. And it's not just the Spaniards. Many Africans are fresh from the village. No English. They all have phones to play with while eating their free breakfast and lunch.
The electorate deserves the government it elects.

Meanwhile the kids are dumber and dumber. They allowed the photography teacher to do a whole display about black lives matter even though we all know it's really a hate movement. The staff could care less about teaching the kids but care so much about how the school looks. Any given day you can hear about at least one fight or see the flock of kids walking out the building skipping school. Administration has lost control and it is really obvious. Hell heard about a fight in January that included a stabbing but the letter sent to the community didn't mention anything about. From what was said the teacher was out socializing with another teacher and all hell broke lose. Why can't they fix the school and bring some of the local kids back that want a good education instead of sending shit to the elementary schools Whitman and mount Vernon. So much for the tradition everyone talks about there.

I graduated back in 2014. Haven't been back there since. I know there a new principal I wasn't sure it was going down hill that fast

Yea no doubt it's crazy! Nardos might not have been the best principal but at least she had control of the students.

There is no expectation of how black kids act, if Hispanic come to school at all and the Muslim's are to demanding and want everything. No wonder the tax payer kid goes to a subpar school. This end of a Route 1 (West Potomac and Mount Vernon) are in the suburbs but the kids go to an inner city school.
