Dart Den in Annandale used to be the go-to place when the owner ran WADA, but he and the shop are long gone. Contact WADA via WADAdarts.org (email a director or something) and ask them if they have any tournament board leftovers. They are pro boards, were only used one or two days, and even though were played for the tournament are usually in almost-new condition at a significant discount. They buy them all new for tournaments and then sell them when done to recoup cost.

But for darts and dart supplies your best bet is online shops. Sucks but that's how it is now, unless you want to find dart bars that have a case of supplies. I thing Bangmyhoes in Chantilly has one, Mighty Mike's in Sterling used to have one, not sure now.

It's the best sporting goods store in this area, never mind the name. Let me know when you grow up by ten years.

None of these sporting goods stores have darts, dart boards, or other dart accessories that are worth a flying f*ck. I don't know of any local specialty stores, either. Someone mentioned online suppliers--A to Z Darts is pretty good among those, but it does suck that you can not do a hands-on test with the darts before purchase.

Doesn't Fast Eddies sell darts? I remember a friend of mine was into darts for a couple months and I think he bought a set there. I've heard they have quite a dart scene going on there (tournaments and such) too so they might be quality. Don't know about boards but if they sell darts they can probably get their hands on some. Can't say for sure, I haven't been there in years and didn't go there much anyways.

There area number of good dart supp;y stores in the area. The two best ones Ive found are in Maryland. Frederick Knife and Tool on Market Street and The Game Room on Liberty Road in Eldersburg MD.

If someone is looking for a professional backboard. I custom build boards for local taverns, bars and legions. All boards are ADO, ADA and WADA compliant. Feel free to drop me an email if you'd like info or pics. My email is Terpsrule96@gmail.com

+1. Dart Den in Annandale was the last of the greats when they closed five years ago and the owner moved.

I think you can order darts from the W. Bell & Co. catalog. If you dont find them, then just swing on by Hermann's

I was positive this thread was about Dart Drug. So odd that it's not. My brother recently found a pack of playing cards with a Dart sticker on it. $0.69.

I think you're right. I saw some at Korvettes in springfield mall. They also have good deals on Metrocall pagers if you are thinking of going hi-tech. As long as you are in springfield you should stop by the Howard Johnson's resturaunt for some ice cream.
