There is no limit to FCPS' greed and waste. As drafted, the meals tax would target the elderly and disabled!

Vote NO on the meals tax-there is no tax relief! Unless the citizens of Fairfax stand together, there will be MORE taxes to cover foolish FCPS spending!

Those "buttercups" sucking on the human services teet should suck it up and pay their fair share.
We are paying good money teaching school kids to be able to change their diapers and push their wheelchairs, so having them kick in a few extra bucks at each meal should be no big deal.
Besides, if they didn't have any kids to begin with, their grandchildren would not be taking an expensife desk in school right now.

I am elderly and part of the reason I am is that I never ate the garbage sold in restaurants.
The meals tax will have zero effect on me.
