Probably the Only Place Left that has em. Yes I like them too. The Bowl America on Edsal Rd at 395 is where I got my last one and a cold beer about 8 years back.
Ho Ho Three pieces of toast, mayo, ham, turkey, bacon, lettuce , a good slice of tomato.. now the good tomato is the hard part.

A club sandwich is just one step up from a grilled cheese or a PBJ. Pretty much everywhere that does not have linen tablecloths does have a club sandwich somewhere on the menu. Maybe some place would use exotic bacon, organic veggies, or whole-grain toast. Otherwise, there's little difference between one here and one there.

Smith and Clarkeson had a good Club sammich. I stopped eating them when I got liquid poops after injesting. Between bacon sitting out all day and crappy cold cuts that Sammich is nothing more than a bacteria bomb.

ANY authentic italian owned sub shop that does it's own stocking and has many italian foods (cheeses, oils, lamb, variety of salami)
excellent subs. and for some reasons italians overcharge for spaghetti but sub shop subs are really quite modest

Susie's deli, in Reston off Wiehle avenue. In bottom of office building across from McDonald's. "Susie's' Club". Fantastic! She will also make it into a sub.

Real bacon once cooked does not go bad sitting out all day. It may become totally unappetizing from the congealed grease, but all the salt ought to keep it safe. If you got sick eating a club sandwich, the more likely culprits are the mayo and veggies.

Point is that when it comes to food poisoning, supposedly unhealthy prepared foods get blamed when the real culprit is more likely the healthier foods, preparation or even the diner failing to wash his hands. The lettuce and tomatoes can pick up something in the fields, in the packing house, or when left in the sink (which is why leaving food in a sink is a big health code violation).

Hunter Mill Deli in Centreville used to have the best one. Bernie's is the best deli south of new york (near mason). I hear 'The Deli' in Fairfax is supposed to be really good. Actually Denny's does have a good club; odd, but it's delicious.

Reginald Denny..Has To Be a Saint !! ..If that had been me..I would have shifted her into granny.. pulled the air horn cord and held it down..dropped the clutch..stood on the throttle...and been Double Clutching that tractor rig the hell out there...Air Shifting thur the gears..People hanging from the windshield, the trailer.. and a whole lot of horrible crunching noises going on..He Was A Innocent Victim..on his Job!!!
