They were trying to hide the FLE opt out forms. Even more reason to opt your child out. Old links to FLE opt out forms are not working, and don't forward to the new page. FLE opt out forms are very difficult to even find, at the time when parents are looking for them. Obvious effort to subvert the FLE opt out effort? Probably, it is like them to subvert any parental objection to their political agenda.

They spend money redoing the FLE program, rather than take what the state puts out for free.
They spend money redoing a website with lots of fluffy feel good phrasing and messages.
Certain the logo itself cost lots.
Yet we have a huge budget shortfall.
They don't deserve more tax money if they can't be responsible with it.
Spend the money on education and teaching. Why did we need all this other stuff? Who knows, but it's waste of money that they don't even have.
Save them money, opt your child out of FLE.

The new FCPS website sucks. The FCPS teachers suck. The Superintendent Karen Garza just got approved for a contract extension which gave her a raise to $300,000 a year. She also gets plenty of other perks (like a $2000/month housing allowance). FCPS and the good reputation that it has is nothing but a bunch of smoke and mirrors!!!
