Get lost, you laughably pathetic asshole. You don't know a damned thing about taxation or restaurants, and you don't know a damned thing about any level of economics either. You are just a mindless dipshit.

Meanwhile, the economic future of the County depends in significant part on an ability to maintain the top notch schools that will draw the companies, jobs, and workers we need to become the upscale tax base of the future. Mindless dimbulb asswipes like you are no part of our future at all.

Its always "The Schools". Its never "the county administrators" or "county Supervisor salaries" or "junkets overseas".....Nope, its always about the children, which is simply a way of manipulating the voters.

Vote "Hell No"

Wise up, dumbfucks. As the County grows, County revenues are going to grow. There are no two ways about that. The question is whether County residents are going to foot the bill all alone, or whether we are going to require outSiders who come in and use the services we provide to pitch in to help cover the costs of providing them. If you are too stupid to understand such a simple situation, you are too fucking stupid to live in the County to begin with.

County residents will pay the vast majority of these taxes. Pretending that 'outsiders' will bear the cost is typical disingenuous bullshit to try to convince people that *they* won't be the one paying for it. They will be.

The meals tax is a diversion and an attempt to avoid budget scrutiny. If the county needs the revenue, then raise property taxes so that people understand the true cost to operate things as they are run by the board rather than attempting to hide them in a meals tax.

"The outsiders".....great idea!! By that of course you mean the illegals that come here, pay virtually no property taxes, fill up the schools and hospitals, right?

Well, I was undecided but that educated and well thought-out argument has convinced me to absolutely vote AGAINST the meals tax. You might want to work on your persuasive skills, asshole.

To date I have not seen a persuasive argument for passing the meals tax referendum, just a series of foul mouthed and immature insults.

How much was spent on giving every kid a new laptop, was that necessary? Should everyone pay a meals tax to fund new laptops?

Everyone should not have to pay meals taxes for laptops. Kids have smartphones and fancy cars. They go on expensive vacations. Their parents should buy their laptops. Kids who don't have computers at home should get laptop assistance. Admin should not go to Disney. Period. We should not pay additional taxes so they can be paid while in Disney in addition to paying for registration, hotel, airfare etc. Restaurant owners will be punished if the meals tax is passed. People already think twice before eating at a restaurant in Fairfax.

I was certainly moved by the pro-meals tax argument presented here. So much so, that I'm now 100% to the meals tax!

Good work, derp!
