Nog = head nig= ignorant... it originates in the UK. It not a fag issue. Our generational niggers have been with us long time, started out as slaves, then freed and we manage to educate maybe 10% percent of them. In the UK It is not uncommon to hear your mate say he ate some faggots for lunch, had a yank around his house, and smoked a fag after.
FYI, in the UK a good friend is called your mate, a yank is slang for an American, and a fag is slang for a cigarette.
However, it wouldn't surprise me to hear the exact same thing here, even though it has a totally different meaning.
