Frankly, what are in fact way too many bad-apple cops have brought all this down upon themselves. The "friendly cop on the beat" disappeared years and years ago. The police are now little more than an "occupying force" in many communities. "Clean-up in Aisle-5" is needed in police departments everywhere.

Actually, Noodles & Company operates as a public accommodation. There is no right to discriminate against police or against anyone else in a public accommodation. Employees with conscience problems should simply resign.

That's the way it sort of went (the employee said to take him off the line) but the cop turned around and walked out before calling the employee on that threat. She should have told him to go ahead and quit, at least it would have ensured that her food wasn't fucked with by that person.

Frankly, if I was a cop, I wouldn't go anywhere now where I could not see the food being prepared. It's the ones that don't say anything that will screw with it.

I will not enter a Noodles & Company period. Was the line cook the supervisory manager in that store at the time, or was the clerk at the cashier station? As the clerk did not do a thing about rectifying the situation which if she was in charge she should have, she is equally guilty because she laughed with the cook about it while looking at the police officer, and didn't tell the cook to go back to work.
Was there more than one line cook working on the line that day? The cashier could have taken the officer's order back to the number 2 line cook and let the complaining cook continue with the rest of the people waiting for food. You don't stop the whole busy restaurant at lunch time when it's full of people waiting to order to exercise your prejudice. After the rush hour she should have counseled the 1st cook on how to pass an order to the second cook and no one would have ever noticed and there would not have been an incident.

Both of them therefore need to be fired.

I have had this done to me in a McDonalds on Rt 50 in Seven Corners area. I was in a long breakfast line--all lines were out the door--it took me 20 minutes to get to the counter as the cooks and the counter help for that line kept disappearing without telling us they were on break and closing the line down. Finally after standing there another 10 minutes waiting for them to return, I realized they were not returning, as they were just standing in the back talking on their phones and ignoring the long lines out front.
I switched lines, waited another 20 minutes in that line and eventually finally got served, but was nearly late to work. The workers were all Hispanics in there, and the place was dirty, so I never returned to that McDonald's. And I am not a police officer, so it wasn't that issue, just sloppy management of the place.

If they fire that nigger, watch "nigger lives matter" and the NAACP head down to Duke Street.

That company is such a cheap ass. The managers are very rude too! I had a mobile coupon and the manager actually grabbed the phone off my hands without me handing it to him! Another time I had a manager actually come to my table while I was eating the miniscule portion they served me to demand that I pay for dressing! I had already paid for my order and then this manager comes up to my family while I am eating to ask me to pay for something that should have been free or that they shouldve charged me for at the counter. They are so rude! Not only that but that manager actually tried to argue with me and told me over and over I needed to pay while I was eating. I boycotted the place after that.
