It was scheduled as an 18 month renovation, which started September. If it remains on schedule March/April 2017 will reopen

Does anyone else find it amazing that it's taking this long to renovate an empty building? Not like they're working while it's still open & makes it a little more difficult/time consuming.
Plus, seems every time I drive by I never see any trucks there so doesn't appear anyone working. Laughed to myself that's why it's taking so so long. Doesn't make me proud of Ffx Cty!

Contractors ripping off the county. Or, maybe the contraactor is killing them off every payday to keep all that government money for himself. Most of the contractors went home back to Mexico to wait for a better economic climate.

You never know what is going on in a project if you are not involved. I doubt county employees are doing the work (except for inspectors).

Just because you can't see progress with your eyes doesn't mean it isn't happening. They haven't delayed opening yet and until they do, there isn't any point in slamming workers or progress.

Typically construction happens between 5 - 6 am and 2 pm. If you are driving by in the late afternoon or on a weekend you wouldn't see trucks in the parking lot.

You also don't know what unforeseen problems (structural, water, supply, etc.) they've hit. Anyone that's renovated or even watched reno. shows on TV knows they are pretty common.
