Just found out from my son that they don't shower after gym class in middle school, like really? When I was in school it was mandatory, and according to my daughter the boys all stink after gym and waft it around the halls, why did they stop mandatory group showers in school? Personally I blame all the kids who complain about having to bear it all when everyone has the same stuff you do, they go complain to a teacher and then other kids get in trouble, they only times anyone from my school got bullied was when you got a boner and that was just making fun of it turtling in the cold water not because anyone though he was gay. We need to band together and make mandatory showers in middle school and high school the norm again.

I remember middle school, the very first time, the gym teacher (was a guy and I'm sure he was perverted!) made all of the guys take a shower. Only one guy had already gone thru puberty and he was hung like a horse! It was embarrassing to the rest of us who were packing rice dicks! The gym teacher stood there the entire time watching us all. Then he watched us all get dressed.

Most kids don't shower in gym class, not sure about sports teams, those I would guess still shower.
Kids are more modest now, and bullying more prevalent, so kids don't want to shower.
Seems crazy that they want to now let a transgender kid who is anatomically the opposite of everyone else in the room change/shower with them.
Maybe we need dressing rooms like they have at stores, then no kid has to change in front of anyone.
My gym has completely individual shower rooms, maybe just a couple of those would be enough so the whole issue goes away. One locker room, no need to label them if everyone gets complete privacy.
But alas, seems like everyone is fixated on getting their way, so it's either let boys get changed next to the girls, or face the wrath of Obama.

I'm Erol and I always get a SHOWER BONER when I see naked guys so the school has banned me from the showers.

No, it was Mr. Labott. He also wore either some really nasty cologne or petrulli oil. Whatever it was smelled like body odor and old spice mixed together. He looked Samoan or similar. He would always say; "a hint to the wise" when reviewing stuff in sex ed ~ letting everyone know if was going to be on the test.

I remember back in 1974 when I was in 8th grade we all took showers after PE Class. We had this black kid that transferred in to our class. He had been held back 3 times in the schools he was in before he arrived in my 8th grade class.

My kids say the same thing - no one showers in high school or middle school. Doesn't matter how stinky or sweaty they get.
Who cares. Showering is over-rated anyway.

There were 4 kids at my gym class that were held back on average 3 years...That year no one showered...
