Panhanddlers at Fairfax Towne Center / Safeway

Has anyone else been experiencing panhandlers and begging near 12200 West Ox Road Safeway? In the past few months I've had people ask me for money in the parking lot -- they come right up to my car door -- too close for comfort. I've also had one man come up to me while inside Safeway near the seafood department in the back of the store asking for money.

The smart ones will go into the store and confront you directly, had a guy try this on me at giant a month ago.
They know that by now, most people see homeless outside begging and walk the other direction. By coming up to you directly though, they have you already at a disadvantage. You're distracted trying to buy chips or steaks or whatever the fuck you need for your family, you're shopping in the store so they can safely assume you have cash or at the very least a debit card or something, and they get within a foot from you and ask for money for the bus or some other bullshit.
They will sell it like an emergency which I'd wager old people fall for on a regular basis too. I'm not a dick so I wouldn't personally do this but alert a manager they will have the guy kicked out in a minute flat, a large store like that has some sort of security

I always keep some sort of Jehovah Witness literature like the Watchtower or Awake on hand to counter their request for my "Extra Spare Change".
I am not a JW, but there is a neighbor in my neighborhood that passes out that stuff every once in a while. I take it not wanting to be rude to her.
I must admit it is fucking hilarious to see the reaction of the obnoxious panhandler when I give them the JW propaganda.

Dudes and Dudettes, don't become a part of the problem. Let me give you a little advice: Don't feed or give money to the beggars.
It's that simple. If you want to improve the life of that beggar, and get that beggar off the street, then don't give him or her anything. If you do, you are becoming a part of the problem yourself.
If the beggar has a baby, then call the cops if you think that the baby is in Need of Services.
E.g., If a woman says her baby is hungry, then report her to the police, because that Child is is Need of Services. Of course we all know that that child is another Gypsy, whose parents learned to beg and steal since they were babies.
Bottom Line: Don't give to beggars. If you do, then you are now the Problem.

I had a guy come up to me in the Target parking structure.
I told him I'd give him some money, but he had to be careful. He asked be careful of what. I told him I was cursed, that the last several people I'd given money to turned up dead.

I detest these beggars.
I've had it happen most recently at the Oakton Giant where a woman plodded up to me as I was loading groceries in the car. I saw her coming and put my hand up and said," Nope. Don't ask me. Move along." I marched right back into the store and alerted a manager. He immediately came out to the lot to look for her and she was gone.
Keep reporting this to management. Tell them if they continue to allow this, you are not shopping there again.
i was also approached at the same Giant, IN STORE. This time it was a supposed veteran who was begging for a a Giant gift card. With great sincerity and patience, I happened to have a VA brochure with me (my dads a vet) and gave it to him with a smile. Told him to call the number listed. Then I also complained to the manager and this time, I think he was apprehend by in store security.
