It is with tremendous disappointment that our beloved Bernie Sanders endorsed Hillary Clinton despite her record:

Bernie ran against special interests. Hillary embodies special interests.

Bernie ran against the TPP. Hillary helped draft the TPP.

Bernie ran in opposition to globalization. Hillary led the push for globalization.

Bernie warned that open borders destroy the working class. Hillary has the most open borders policy in our history.

Bernie wants to reform H1-B visas. Hillary supported lifting the caps on H1-B visas.

Bernie wants less war. Hillary launched wars in Iraq and Libya and would lead us to a new war in Syria.

Bernie wants to get money out of politics. Hillary made a career out of making money from politics.

After much discussion over why Bernie must publicly endorse Hillary, we conclude that our interests, in fact those of any true progressive thinkers, line up better with the Donald Trump objectives. Trump has his well-documented drawbacks, but this is the year to finally fix the way Washington runs our country. Bernie was our first choice. We now will work toward electing Donald Trump.

This is really funny! So funny that I'm going to print it out and show it to several of my progressive thinking buddies when we meet for some golf at country club this Friday (IT execs...so liberal, so wealthy, you gotta love it). There will be hoots and snorts all around as we have a beer and "discuss" how Trump's "objectives" align with ours.

You should consider writing comedy professionally. Surely it would pay better than pounding out talking points at 1/2 cent per word free lancing for that conservative super pac.

I voted for Sanders in the primary, and was going to vote for him if he went Green until yesterday. I'm beyond disappointed. Either voting for Stein (love the Green Party except for the Tumblr-esque special snowflake aspect WRT gender issues) or holding my nose and going Trump.

I was on the Never Trump bandwagon until very recently, more so because of his supporters. I don't care for "All/Blue Lives Matter", nor for BLM. I liked BLM's message from the beginning, but now they've turned into a bunch of petulant little brats emboldened by the half-breed in the White House, whether that was his intention or not.

I'm not a single-issue voter, but I do tend to vote for the more reformist candidate when it comes to cannabis (I haven't smoked in two years but for dozens of reasons I still firmly believe it should be legal, and little-to-nothing can change my views on that). I don't know that Trump has much of an opinion on it, but I do know that he at least has the capability to see the bigger picture, which is to say that instead of/in addition to cracking down on the lovely little Nicaraguan nationals coming through the border and ruining Northern Virginia, he can solve a few issues through legalization. Will he? I don't know. What I do know is that Hillary wouldn't dream of any sort of reform on that front because it hurts her and Bubba's bottom line.

From what I've seen, IT execs around here don't play golf. Friday golf is mostly for civil service types who have compressed work schedules and can take every other Friday off.

This election cycle reminds me of the last time I voted for a Dem for anything, voting for good old Chuck Robb who was running against Oliver North. I remember my GOP North supporting friends who were all saying, "he's an outsider and not owned by special interests" and he'll "shake things up in Washington" to which I would reply, "No he isn't, he's a fucking idiot who will be nothing but an embarrassment to Virginia!"

Trump is an even bigger fucking idiot than North was by a landslide. Does anyone really think President Trump's first order of business will be building a "big beautiful wall" along the Mexican border and slapping tariffs on companies that outsource american jobs rather than doing something like, I dunno, maybe bringing the full weight of the justice department on author Timothy O"Brien for writing in his bio Trump Nation that after thoroughly researching any available public information that he was likely worth only about $250-$300 million (about what he inherited btw) instead of the $30 billion he wakes up on a good day and thinks his company is worth?

Any conversation I have with anyone planning to vote GOP these days (don't personally know any Trumptardz) seems to go along the same lines, "think about how awful a Cankles presidency would be; ACA would remain, Supreme court noms, hugs and pandering for ISIS and BLM and maybe 2% GDP." To all of this I say just as I did when weighing Robb vs North, "eventually you have to stop looking at how bad the other guy/gal is and look at what the alternative your proposing is and in this case the alternative to Cankles is a fucking idiot who would be an embarrassment and catastrophe for the country and not just Virginia.

I'll most likely vote GOP down ballot and the whatshisname Lib candidate for Pres unless (god help me) it's looking close Cankles actually needs a vote. ACA and a Cankles presidency will most likely sink from it's own weight in her first term and terrorism, BLM, etc would be with us no matter who is pres. Hopefully, the catastrophe that will be the Trump candidacy will teach all those Trumptardz out there to stay at home and watch their programs instead of getting all involved in that politics nonsense.

Maybe you have to hold your nose as I will , I have had enough with the Obama Clinton Machine and all the corrupt politics that go along with them. And in the End We got Nothing , nor will we get anything from Clinton.

Here's the thing, though, Hillary is so annoying and grating (and we know her record as a politician) that I'd rather have a fucking idiot entertainer outsider with no record as President than Hillary.

I am a Conservative who usually votes Republican.

I am looking for one Liberal who usually votes Democrat.

The Plan:

We agree that I will vote for Gary Johnson (libertarian), and you will vote for Jill Stein (green).

We both save face, and help our respective third/fourth party candidates.

Unless I find a partner, I will vote for Trump.
