Kings Dominion on this Sunday. Crazy Idea?

I haven't been to any amusement parks since 2003 or something. I really want to go ride some roller coasters and I'm thinking of going this sunday. I know it will be busy since it's holiday weekend but does anyone have any experiences? will it be crazy packed ??

Martin Luther King's Dominion is rather popular with the greater Richmond African American population on holiday weekends. I suggest you show up early.

KD is not as bad as folks on this site say. We had season tickets the past 3 years and there were many more rednecks from North Carolina and Southern VA than nogs from Richmond. Not saying there aren't nogs there, but it's nowhere near as bad as 6 Flags Over Africa in PG County. Now that place has a nog problem.

That water park over in 6 Flags over PG County is like swimming in a giant "Don's John".
