There will be a sobriety checkpoint in the Sully District this Sat. July 2 from 11:30 pm - 2:30 am

Popular spots for these are Rt50 at Stonecroft and Rt29 just west of rt66.

Yes, but just use one of the mobile apps. They tell you where the checkpoints are at night. All Uber drivers use them and report.

I get texts all the time telling me where the checkpoints are located. It's not illegal to go around them on another road.

They used to do it on Rt28 heading into Manassas but drivers were able to take the back road paralleling it, I don't blame them for doing stops. Too many innocent people getting killed by stupid asses drinking and driving, there needs to be more check points.
