Bonfires

First off, is it legal to have bonfires? Second, do you know of any places to have them?

Outside burning has been prohibited in Fairfax County for years.

Burning leaves was a ritual of fall until the early 1970s.

Folks complained of respiratory problems caused by smoke.

Cars used to ignite when the fire spread down the curb.

Call the Fire Marshall if you need further details.
