Have u ever broken apart a cigarette filter? It's cotton . I'm sure theres also cellulose in there as well, fact of the matter is that it is biodegradable. It's not like plastic or rubber.

Filters are made from cellulose acetate, which will eventually biodegrade. The actual impact on the environment from cigs butts is minimal - it just looks like shit on the side of the road.
I can understand why people flick their cigs out the window. Because it makes your car smell like shit if you put on out and leave it in the car.

What I plan on doing is taking down your tag and then I will call the poilce to turn your ass in..I am sick of driving behind those who flic their cigarettes out the car window. Crazy I use to smoke, had not smoked in 10 years, I hate the smell of them and I really hate when I am driving into work and see this orange ball of fire flying toward my vehicle. I plan on taking down tag numbers and reporting your ass. So go smoke that!!!!

Do you really think that recording tag numbers and calling it in will accomplish anything? All it will do is waste your time and the time of whatever unfortunate public servant has to take the complaint.
I hate littering smokers too, but there's not much we can do about it. If only the cigarettes killed them off faster and didn't run up medical bills.
These days, it seems that the cleaner air is inside because of all the smokers doing their habit just outside the doors to the building.

Cigarette filters are not made out of cotton anymore. They are made of celluose acetate which can take decades to disintegrate. But oh well, I throw mine out daily. Mostly because I don't wont my car to smell as if I kept an ashtray in it.

Birds use them for their nests. That's why you don't see many on the ground. The cig butts make great insulation and are easy to build with. Many experts agree and have found that birds usually place them on the north side of their nests because of it's insulating factor.

Sorry about that...I like to smoke and jog on the trail. I try to throw the butts at fellow joggers. It normally makes them run faster. if you have burn marks on your trendy jogging outfit, that would be from me. You could actually get arrested for pissing all over someone, so please dont do that, it isn't nice or polite behavior. Try pissing your pants instead of on fellow smoke-joggers...

Talk about stench...joggers reak of body odor and sweaty a$$.
Try showering before you come near me when I am enjoying a nice cool smoke. Your body odor is really ruining my peaceful enjoyment of a sweet, bada$$ menthol smoke.
