Lake Royal in Burke, what's going on?

I went out to fish Lake Royal today for my usual bluegill and crappie, and it's down to a third of its water level. This is odd considering the rain fall. Large areas of what used to be the lake are simply dirt, and the branches that were previously covered.

Any info would be appreciated as it's a good fishing spot. Or was as you could even catch catfish sometimes.

They're draining it to look for the bodies of murdered day laborers.

It's a shame too. I've caught lots of real nice fish out of there. It was my main "secret" place around here. There were only a few people who really fished it hard. This is going to fuck it up for years.

Supposedly they're moving or have moved the fish to Braddock and Mercer. Both of those are a pain to get a kayak in though.

The fish and turtles got fat by feeding on body parts. There must have been at least 5 bodies found in these lakes recently. Some kind of epidemic.

They actually shock the fish so they can catch them and relocate them. After the dredging is done they slowly reintroduce the fish.
