Fairfax County police arrested an 18-year-old Centreville High School student in connection with a 17-year-old girl’s drug-related death in March.
Police said David Evers turned himself in at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center on Thursday, May 19. The 18-year-old is charged with manufacturing, selling, giving, distributing or possessing with intent to manufacture, sell, give or distribute a controlled substance, or an imitation controlled substance.
The death of 17-year-old Alexia Springer on March 1 sparked the investigation when police found the Centreville resident unresponsive at her home in the 13800 block of Coleman Court.
According to police, the manner of death was accidental. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined that the cause of death was acute combined morphine, alprazolam, oxycodone and ethanol poisoning.
Police said they are still investigating.

Can't believe it was him. I went to school with him last year, we were in the same physics & SGA class. He'd always be so studious, was very self controlled, but also kind of weird. This just goes to show you can't judge a book by its cover/ people produce false images of themselves to others. A lot of times they are two faced.

This is sad. I don't know how a kid would have time to carry a tough academic course load AND be on SGA AND make and distribute drugs...
There has almost got to be more to that story.

I know this isn't usually the place to be serious but please people, talk to your kids. Show them this story. When you buy and use drugs you have no friggin clue what is in them. It's just NOT worth it. So sad and all levels.
