It's a damn shame that Alexia Springer, a resident of Centreville, and student at Centreville High School, experienced an accidental death due to acute combined morphine, alprazolam, oxycodone, and ethanol poisoning.

Good looking young man. I feel bad for all involved in this tragedy. MR Evers is looking at involuntary manslaughter and supplying drugs to a minor. The state will ask for 15 years. With a good Attorney, which won't be cheap, he could do a year and about ten years of probation.It depends on money. I hate to say this but if he gets a cheap Attorney he will get at least ten years in a level 3 prison, probably Augusta or Greenville. These are rough facilities for a young good looking young white man.

My gut tells me that this thread would have one or two or a hundred more posts if the accused were of a different race.

Given all of the attention that this case got, I doubt he'll be getting off very easy even with a good attorney.

I doubt he will get involuntary manslaughter, that girl was taking drugs prescribed to her and was fully aware of what not to take while on them. Also, it is not like this was her first time drinking and/or doing different drugs while on her prescription.

I thought he brought whatever stuff, I just feel like in this situation someone has to go down for it and unfortunately it's going to be David who was her friend. That's just how the justice system works when you pressure them. He should be held accountable for supplying to minors and intent to distribute, but who knows alexia could have went home and popped more pills and ended her life herself. Honestly no one at the party could have been her true friend to allow her to mix pills and alcohol but someone had to go down so they targeted the oldest one

Some serious mandatory minimums in that statute. He's facing hard time if convicted. Best bet is to plea it down to something else.

The real difference between this guy and someone of another race. The other race would have a thread full of epithets and innuendo. This one has attorneys or attorney-wannabes.
