Remember, Reston Town Center will be nailing you in August

Nothing in the town center remotely worth paying to park for.

Won't be shopping or eating there anymore. Too much trouble to contest erroneous tickets. It's why I never eat in Bethesda. Tags expired in may and wrote me a ticket for expired tags in March. Couldn't get it corrected. Guess months start with m close enough. Same with dc.

Tyson's Corner will start charging for parking later this year (before the Holidays). They claim it will be to discourage commuters who park and use the silver line. First 3 hours free with validation from a major store or AMC theatres, or restaurant; otherwise $3 per hour, $15 max per day.

I hope they realize that this is a big mistake....all those stores are available within a 10 mile radius, mostly at Fair Oaks where parking is free. I won't go to Reston Town Center anymore!

The parking fees are designed to keep ass-fucks like you out. Go hang out in Manassas where ass-fucks like you belong. The parking fees are a GREAT idea!

Me too! I'm not paying $2 an hour to park at the Reston Town Center. Plenty of other places to go with free parking.

The new Herndon Town Center parking will be free. There's also Brambleton Town Center and Loudoun One. All free parking.

The whores at the Lucky Lounge have always cost much more than $2/hour.

They should have done this years ago. Paid parking will help keep out some of the low rent fucks that we are seeing there now. Only wish the cost could be set a little higher.

To be fair, there is a huge commuter parking problem in RTC. Went there at 10:30 am on a Tuesday a few weeks ago and the parking garage was completely full, yet the town center was empty! (Great time to do shopping btw if you can find a parking spot) There has to be another solution though. Paid parking should only be enforced during commuter hours.

The whores at Jackson's will have to charge a higher porking fee now. The cougars will still be offering service free of charge though.

Give people who work at the stores a parking pass. Enforce a 6 hour parking limit that starts at 6am on M-F / non-holidays. Even I shop, eat, and see a movie that's not going to take 6 hours.

I'm pretty sure if towing cars will be a pretty effective way to cut the commuters from parking there. If not.. then it's a massive money maker. ;)

People who could not afford $2 to park could not afford to shop or dine at RTC in any case. Just go on with your miserable RTC-less lives and hope that parking near Goodwill centers continues to be free.

Exactly what I was thinking. People who are financially challenged tend to be challenged at everything else in life. Parking fees may help to keep these losers out but the fees do need to be higher.

Apparently, none of them can afford to pay their fair share of the taxes we all need to keep the place running properly either. To my mind, these monetary misfits should simply hop onto southbound I-95 and never look back. That would solve everybody's problem -- we'd be rid of them, and they'd be rid of these awful pay-to-park burdens.

You mean the rich people will be gone. No rich person is going to waste money paying for parking at the RTC. Not when there are some many other free parking places in NOVA. That's insulting.

On the bright side it will be a big boom for other restaurants in the area.

The old, rich people will reject it and we are counting on that. The parking fees should be twice what they have planned.

You people think a $2 parking charge is going to affect the shopping and dining habits of the wealthy? Wake up! These are folks who drop a twenty on a parking valet without even thinking about it.

+1

Most well off people are pretty stingy, they will spend money only on large assets such as a home or car.

I live in home worth over $1,000,000 but shop at Aldis.

Bullshit! Virtually all wealthy people realize how fortunate they have been in life and are only too happy to give back to the society that made their success possible. It is only people who haven't had and won't ever have any actual money who cannot fathom this. Congrats on being one of those.

Congrats to your parents on their success. And it's just "Aldi". No "s" on the end.

What color is the sky in your world?

Rich people are the stingiest people in the world. Rich people also take great offense to anybody who "feels they should pay more" because they are "rich."

You don't know any wealthy people and you very likely never will. You can only imagine them from reading phony tales and fables on your lying asswipe right-wing disinformation websites. Stupid assfuck.

There isn't a source. It's wanton bullshit made up by a moron. In the real world, Tysons is committed to providing free parking for its customers and employees.
