Here is the real issue with the changing of the demographics in FFX County. All the immigrants, new foreigners that are now living here, have absolutely no interest in improving the neighborhood. Last week I attended a meeting of the subdivision in FFX county and the only attendees at the meeting were white people. No Asians, no Hispanics, no Indians, no Blacks. These are the "changing demographics of people" who want nothing to do with participating in the improvement of the community.

They sponge off what has been built and what the tax payers are providing for them.
I just don't see this changing. They stay within there own sect of people, cannot communicate with others, and just don't care!

If you had left off the racial references I would agree with you. It isn't just hispanics, asians and blacks who don't want to pitch in and improve the community, it is also younger whites. Neighborhood is more a reflection of school districts, commuting times and potential home equity appreciation to most in this group than it is a collection of people who you and your family will get to know and interact with.

Their is a reason younger whites don't pitch in. Most have moved out of the burbs and live in Ballston or Clarendon, where they are closer to their friends and the nightlife.
