Alexandria Woman Charged With Murder for Strangling Man

27-year-old Jessica R. Deneal-Whalen has been charged with second-degree murder in the strangulation death of 51-year-old Raymond A. White, who was found in her apartment in the 5300 block of Bedford Terrace in the Clusters at Woodlawn condominiums in Alexandria.

On Monday afternoon, Deneal-Whalen walked into the South County Government Center to report a dead person in her apartment. Fairfax County Police responded to the call, and found White's corpse.

Racism notwithstanding, she does look like she's been having a difficult few years.

While researching this story, I found this mugshot from 2012, when she was arrested in New Hanover County, North Carolina, for assaulting a child under 12 years of age.
