It was fun in the 70's learning how to walk on stilts, ride unicycles, and walk the tightrope (though it was more like going across real fast before I fell off. I didn't know I had to remove my shoes)
He would be to old to still teach, I wonder if some teacher picked up where he left off

He was a historian on John Mosby too. I saw him on the history channel once a few years back

He was great; his circus club thing was neat, especially to see it in the Fairfax City Parade. I liked those wheel things that people rolled in. He died years ago, in 1999.

My niece took circus classes from him. She moved to Belfast 17 years ago to teach circus skills to Irish kids. She married a sword-swallower there. True story! Mr. Moyer changed her life.

It's funny how most people grow up to hate teachers. They make too much money....they're off all summer....blah blah blah.
Yet lots of people remember special teachers for many decades after the fact.

I had a classmate start a Circus in Colorado that I'm sure was influenced by him
