Does anyone remember when Luther Jackson middle school was bad?

At 13 years old I made the transition from Fair Hill elementary (great school) to "Luther Jackson." I lived in a decent neighborhood, not a substantial amount of crime and my parents were government workers.

We had issues with kids having sex in the bathrooms (I walked in on a few incidents), the occasional girls who were pregnant at merely 12, a lot of free/reduced lunch, theft issues, sexual harassment, "no snitching" rule, fights, etc. I remember I was reading a book while walking in the hallway, I looked up and bumped into someone near my locker while a fist fight was going on three feet in front of me. MS-13 wasn't too rampant but it existed, and I was advised never to wear a "plain blue shirt."

The next high school after Luther would be Falls Church, and I thought "not a chance." I went to Oakton instead and my dad began to make a substantial amount of money in IT so we moved to Clifton. I'm 24 now, and I'm wondering if Falls Church/Luther Jackson middle school has changed? I've read Luther is now actually a gifted school? That's quite a drastic change from what I can remember.

Did anyone attend Luther from either 05-08? Has it changed like they claim? Has Falls Church high school as well?

Except for the free-and-reduced meals, it sounds like your typical rich kid prep school.

Do you know of a "typical rich kid prep school" in NOVA where whites are a minority like Luther? I don't.

It was kind of like this in 2006 when my kid went there.
I think it has gotten a little better since they started putting the GT kids there instead of shipping them to other schools. Diluted things down a bit.

Not everyone sending their kids to private school is looking to turn the clock back to 1953.

I'm not arguing that, there's statistical data to support my statement.

Well, you were dropped on your head as an infant how many fucking times? The conditions described are not unique to Luther Jackson and not unique to race. Except in the broken-down brain of a certified worthless asshole. By the way, here are some US cities that are majority non-white today -- Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, Washington D.C., Chicago, Baltimore, Boston, Detroit, St. Louis, Buffalo, New York City, Tampa, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Milwaukee, New Orleans, Charlotte, Memphis, Dallas, El Paso, Houston, and San Antonio. Of course, the entire country will be majority non-white by 2040-something. Paleface days are over, sucker!

You're listing irrelevant information and straying from the original point I had made. I'm not making a correlation based merely on race, I'm saying it can't possibly describe a garden-variety environment of an arguably wealthy NOVA prep school. Statistical data helped implement my point, as well as the conditions I had mentioned in my original point.

"Paleface days are over, sucker"? I'm not white?

And none of those cities you listed have anything to do with "NOVA prep schools"....

Stupid douche. The point was made with respect to a "typical rich kid prep school." You're just too fucking sorry-ass dumb to remember. Why don't you do something useful and go give yourself an enema?

43% Free or reduced price lunch.

33% Hispanic, 24% Asian, 7% Black, 5% Other.

29% White

I am sure things have improved a bit, but the overall mix of culture and Free/Reduced Lunch makes it a tricky few years.

You decide.

More and more schools are simply going to 100%. Reduces the admin costs by a lot. We don't have free food for under-educated, hate-filled trailer-trash just yet though. Maybe some day.

Just watch out for Mr Riley the walrus mustache guy and the black guy running in school suspension. The principal was doctor somebody... forget who. Mr Dick the math teacher weird name eh. The rednecky gym teacher was nice, she would talk about her camaro. Unlike the one gym teacher who tanned too much and looked out of place. Watch out for the electrical panel in the gym where people would electrocute themselves for fun.

Hahahaha, I remember Mr. Riley, nobody was a fan. I remember the PE teacher, she was ok but a little strange. She used to reminisce about her past to us which was eh and talk about how she went from like, "rags to riches" and her brother owned a lawn mowing company.

I remember the math teacher who was overly obsess with the Red Sox, she was in the military and went over seas IIRC. I remember walking in a girl named vicky getting plowed in the bathroom. Also sneaking over to the Wendys haha

My kid had a great experience at Luther Jackson. Like many schools it has a rougher element but the administration is pretty strict for that reason. There are some terrific teachers, and the drama program is particularly good.

I don't remember a time when Luther Jackson as a middle school was not considered suspect. It started out being saddled with its legacy as the county's black high school. Then it got screwed over with the redistricting when Wittier closed down and was hit again as the neighborhoods east of the Beltway transitioned.

I went to LJ in the 16-18 years. Sadly the black man (mr hardy) left due to SIR Danté his favorite person to chase around the school was relocated to one of this strict disciplinary schools. But we had 1 bomb threat in my sevenths grade year, Me getting beat up once for idk, a trash can set on fire using joints (but we were used to that stuff by then), and like 5 kids jumping off the roof (one wore a rainbow flag as a cape and screamed"GAY MAN AWAY!". Also in that year a few kids got arrested when for a career day they brought a k - 12 unit and it smelled mainly crack coke and weed as it passed by the lockers. It wasn’t even checking. Also they had to give the school security officer actual tactical gear because some kids targeted him apparently. 8th grade was cool. More pregnant 8th graders, more fights and now teachers would get physical during them since people would pull them in to provoke them into fighting. During career day a FBI person talked about his latest break on ms-13 and all the Hispanic kids started booing him and screaming that’s my uncle!. We also had a kid pretend to shoot up the school during a walkout using an aisoft gun and social media. Fun fact one time I found a box of condoms still wrapped not even touched on the feild. They were funny cause we were idiot seventh graders. I went cause my parents thought it was better for me to go to the apparent aap school when thorough just became one. But I loved it. Never a dull moment my friends who went to thorough say LJ sounds like a hellhole but it was great especially since the walrus/Lorax shaved his mustache when we fundraised money for leukemia. So while it has gotten partially better drugs have become a bigger issue there. Luckily my bus ride was nearly 45 minutes to Vienna so I could sleep on the bus or do my homework. Yeah but it’s still bad. Oh and by the way was TAHA or beards at Luther when you were there? he was 16 last year.

Luther Jackson still sucks.

Check out the graph below. Notice a pattern? Whites and Asians on one hand . . . blacks and Hispanics on the other.

"This shows Test Score Ratings for different races/ethnicities. Big differences may suggest that some student groups are not getting the support they need to succeed."

Or it may suggest that kids of some races tend to belong to a BAD CULTURE with parent(s) who do not actively promote educational achievement by their children and are not engaged in the process. Or it may suggest that there are a shitload of illegal Hispanic kids who can't even speak English. I won't even go into whether it MAY suggest that there are statistically significant IQ differences among the races.

Anyway, many (mostly White and Asian) parents were pissed a couple of years back when they were reassigning kids in the GT program from other schools to Luther Jackson. I know parents whose kids had been in GT program in elementary school, but who pulled them out at middle school and sent them to Thoreau or a private school instead of Luther Jackson.

It could be fixed . . . but not by this Board of Supervisors and this School Board.

First thing would be to rename it something like Ronald Reagan Middle School or William F. Buckley Middle School. Or at a minimum, maybe Calvin Coolidge Middle School. Some conservative white dude to establish the kind of environment the school is trying to foster and not some kind of ghetto school. Not too many Ronald Reagan schools in the hood.

Next, make it as PAINFUL as legally possible of illegals to stay in FFX County and send their illegal kids to our schools. Announce loudly and put out through the Spanish language media that the County will be an ICE Partner Jurisdiction that will detain and transfer to ICE any illegals who commit even the most minor of infractions. Make them desperately want to move to Alexandria or PW County.

Employ dozens of undercover police officers at the new Ronald Reagan Middle school to uncover and arrest any bad actors.

And maybe redistribute the black kids. A few here and a few there - never enough any one place for them to feel like they can sow their oats safely.

But the FFX County Board and School Board would never take even one of these actions. Leftists would like to make EVERY school like Luther Jackson. So everyone is equal! Equally miserable. Leftists destroy every single thing they touch.

Lol, the niggers barely outscored the illegals, and they don’t even speak English.
God, niggers are still as pathetic as ever!

King Abdullah Academy, where there are no white kids technically, and where Saudis and Emiratis make up 80% of the student population

It seems like after 2015, there have been no pregnant 8th graders at LJMS
