Gerry is a champion of the TPP which will mean many American job losses. I was already not going to vote for him because of that, but his comments about Bernie Sanders, who is on the side of the little guy, show just how out of touch Gerry is.

I am a Democrat and not Voting for Gerry. He loves war, Wall Street and lying his ass off. He might as well be a republican.

The TPP only works if we raise the national minimum wage to $15 per hour.

But it allows us to close dirty manufacturing plants here that contribute to global warming.

The TPP is a pipeline of jobs, materials, and money from the US to Asia, where factories can pay children 75 cents an hour to produce what costs $15 per hour or more to produce here.

Then they ship it all to the US for our $15 per hour employees to purchase.

Except those $15 per hour employees are now unemployed and not buying much of anything.

And after nine months their benefits run out and the government no longer considers them unemployed as they are officially out of the workforce.

So the unemployment rate goes down.

Which is all OK because we still can produce raw materials such as iron and coal and natural gas and sell it overseas to the Pacific manufacturing countries.

Except with fewer people buying their products they have no need for our raw materials. They can even produce their own steel and ship it back here cheaper.

Where it sits at the dock with no buyers.

But Gerry Connolly will still have a job, because the one thing his Government can do is raise taxes to pay for him to be there.

Except with fewer people paying taxes, there is less for the Government to spend, so Government contractors are also fired.

Unless Gerry and company are willing to increase the deficit and national debt. Which can then be purchased by the TPP countries who make money on the interest.

Except with no one buying their products, they have no money to buy our debt.

Which creates a surplus of debt and drives the interest rates down.

And lower interest rates are good for borrowers, assuming they don't default.

So the results of the TPP are lower unemployment, lower interest rates, higher pay for US workers, a reduction of polluting manufacturing in the US, which helps address the global warming issues.

Gerry Connolly understands all this, which makes him an economic and political genius, who should be reelected.
