They don't usually run Checkpoints after the Superbowl. They need too many officers to respond to incidents.

They just run speed traps on the roads. According to the apps there are no reported checkpoints but there are plenty of cops running radar traps on main roads like RT7, Rt50 and 495. Mainly police cars around Fairfax county parkway and RT 7.

The apps say the ones on RT 7 are "hidden traps."

I'm not planning to leave the house and find out, although I haven't had anything stronger than Diet Coke. Some of us have to get up in the morning and go earn a living.

If you can't get Uber call Lyft. You can also share the cab with Lyft.

I take Uber all the time. Usual cab fare is about $10. What a bargain. Always there with in about 5-10 minutes.
