What's going on w/ the new Harris Teeter at Dunn Loring metro?

I drove through the new Mill Creek area the other day at Dunn Loring metro (where District Taco, Spice 6, etc., are located) but didn't see anything about Harris Teeter still coming. Have those plans been shelved or something?

They are still "hiring" online but I haven't seen any action or signage there since the summer so makes me think they aren't coming after all...going to be a big gap left in that retail space.

There was permit action as recently as Jan.15,2016 (electrical inspection passed) as well as hiring on the HT website (Harris Teeter #308) so those signs point to it still being a go...but yes not much action going on there!

Interesting. They'll be opening another location soon thereafter in Falls Church.

Falls Church scored second best school district in the state, after Arlington, which was ranked 44th nationally. (Fairfax County came in at 279 nationally.)

No amenities. No future. Dirty. Dusty. Decaying. At close to 6500 people per square mile, it's no longer viable as a family-oriented suburban community, and it's already been easily outdone by its neighbors as a vibrant smart-growth yuppie hub. I can remember a time when you didn't have to be embarrassed to say that you were from Falls Church. But that was a long time ago, and those days are now gone.

Hey OP sorry but you are going to have to share the carry out food bars at Wegman's for a bit longer with the other moms. But when Harris Teeter opens I'll be there for you. Don't worry I'll scratch you itch without your husband finding out. I'll be the guy in the blue baseball hat.
