I agree there are still a lot of top athletes in the area. Perhaps just not powerhouse teams. But we'll see.
Some areas are seeing reduced numbers of kids going out for football. My brother in Pittsburgh was just telling me there are a few former top football schools in the area that are not fielding freshman football teams anymore. Not enough kids. Just JV and Varsity. So it's not just here.
