1) If Westfield wants football, let Westfield pay for football-in its entirety. If you like football, contribute as much as you like, but don't expect the rest of us to share your passion.
2) A problem with football is the special treatment that players and coaches get. Read this:
http://www.wacotrib.com/sports/baylor/football/ncaa-uncertainty-leaves-baylor-football-in-danger-of-return-to/article_53397fda-244e-11e6-9879-b72afcf0161a.html
It seems, just maybe, that being shielded weakens the deterrent force laws are supposed to have. The whole idea of special treatment is problematic in and of itself.
3) You don't need the apostrophe in individual's. Maybe you could ask the Westfields player about that.
4) It is not clear what you mean by "the administration at the next level" but the same line of thinking applies. If they want football, let them pay for it. Most colleges work out their own funding; yes, football is part of it, but it is not realistic, or proper, to expect local residents to subsidize football in the schools where it is a part of their fundraising regime.
5) One might argue that this is a public forum, and a fairly unregulated one at that. Football fans might want to pool their funds and set up a paid membership site where they can have their discussions.
