I am a lifelong Democrat and Trump is my #1 choice. He's right on immigration, trade, and counterterrorism. Obama and Hillary jumped the shark long ago, so Trump is really a return to Clinton/Carter-style Democrats. I'm what the pollsters call a 'moderate'. I've voted for both democrats and republicans including Obama twice. No way I vote for Hillary. She's totally in bed with Wall Street and has been bought and gift wrapped for her donors.

I'm not crazy about Trump but he's not taking any money from anyone and his stance on the tpp and halting immigration from the Middle East are both things I can support.

I'd vote for him over Hillary.

I don't plan to register or to vote. The only way to tell what these candidates really stand for is by who they place on their campaign staff as issue advisors. He seems to be backed by the Koch Brothers like the other Republican candidates. No real change there.

Trump doesn't stand a chance. The people like him because he is not a politician. However, he has pissed off the old rich white guys who own the current crop of politicians and because of that he will lose the nomination. The Post yesterday had a story about how there will be a floor fight at the Republican convention, designed to keep the nomination from Trump. The current crop of owned politicians have to maintain their power and control to appease their handlers, even over the votes of those Republicans who vote in caucuses and primaries. The people mean nothing. We all know who is in charge. And everything I wrote here applies to Hillary, too.
