Um. No. The store closed over 18 years ago.

The one at the corner of Amherst and Commerce? Wasn't it just called Springfield Video or something? I only went there once, while I was in high school in the late 90's. A friend bought some old Jamie Lee Curtis movie on VHS. The guy at the register was middle aged, quiet, and just kind of watched everyone in the store. Looked bored. I remember there was a curtain that led to a back room where all the porn was displayed. As AOL (lol) download speeds were still relatively slow, it was still cool to oogle the porn videos on the shelves. Now I wouldn't imagine spanking it to anything but a few websites on my laptop. Also, the laptop fits really nicely on the bathroom vanity. Never would have been able to do that with an old tube TV attached to a VCR! Man, technology is amazing. Whoops, strayed off topic.

Now you can use your smart phone or tablet.

If you are desperate you can even hit the public bathroom stall.

I hear rest areas and airports are the best.

Games for Less, Guy named Wes I think @ Brookfield Plaza?

If that is the one this store has been closed for at least 15 years, but my crew used to buy Genesis/Nintendo games from him while trading in games too.

The store was in this vicinity. It occupied one of the above spaces but I do not exactly remember which one. He had all the latest video games new & used.
