Heavy Police and Helicopter Activity Near Tysoms

There is n extraordinarily heavy police presence on Route 123 Westbound betepween Tysons Corner Center and the Metro station, complete with helicopters.

Any word on what is happening?

They're looking for suspect in Fairfax Station double homicide, which was previously thought to be a murder suicide.

I'm guessing another robbery or a group of shoplifters at Tyson's.

Tyson's seems to be a big target for gangs of thieves.

My wife and daughter were leaving Tysons at that time.

They were parked near the Metro side of the Mall and while they were getting into the car a black male with a backpack came running around the corner as they were just getting into the car. Just behind the guy a white guy was running after him.

Turns out the white guy was a plain clothes officer that yelled "Stop Police" as he caught up to the suspect.

Then another back up woman officer in uniform showed up right behind the plain clothes officer.

My wife and daughter had a front row seat to the take down and arrest.

Just more thieves "Shopping Tyson's".

I think a few days ago the PG gang tried to buy $19k of iPhones with stolen credit cards.

Mark my word, between now and Christmas at least 2 banks in McLean will be robbed and there will be at least 2 or more big busts at Tysons.

They were all from Queens, NYC.
Pretty common for them to go up and down I-95.
