Cops in Vienna walking down the road with a rifle and K9 because somebody walked away from the scene of a crash. This is what you voted for, Republicans.

All suburban cops are pussies. They spend hours a day working on their biceps so they can write traffic tickets. Their biggest risk is getting creamed by a driver as they write up speeders. Big city cops deal hand to gland with criminals while suburban cops cruise by on their way to the next speed trap or coffee stop.

Bigger Vienna story has been the opening last week of "Chase The Submarine" on Church Street across from and west of Bazin's. Sort of like a gourmet Subway, but with other moving parts like beer, wine, coffee, and a butcher's case. Great spot for a quick bite when you want a little more than a couple of loaded chili dogs!

Just an overview report on a first visit there. Good to know that the new concept checks in at the same impressive quality levels as Water & Wall, Maple Avenue Restaurant, and Caffe Amouri. Don't go to Chase The Submarine if you think you wouldn't enjoy first-rate sandwiches and related goodies. For those who think they WOULD enjoy such fare, plan to pay a visit soon. You'll be glad you did.

Coincidentally "Ride the Submarine" is the porn movie I made last weekend. It's like Subway & Chase the Submarine with lots more moving parts, but with less cheese and extra hot tamales.
