I buy a lot of Capitals tickets and never pay face value. Watch Stubhub and NHL Ticket exchange. Best prices are the day of the game. Time is on your side if you can hold out and wait until several hours before the game. I can usually find lower level seats under $50 that have a face value of $100+.
