is there any place to work in Ashburn besides retail establishments?

Or is Ashburn just an encampment of people who work in Fairfax/Arlington/DC but can't afford to live there?

Ashburn is a suburb of Herndon and Reston. Either you're in IT or in national security.

Where do the people working retail in Ashburn live? Certaintly not in Asburn- as the basic apartment there starts out at over $1,300 a month!

Sterling and Herndon with 3 whole families in each apartment.

there are a couple breweries and wineries you could work at.

a few tree companies and landscapers.

with all the home building you could work in contracting.
