where are obstruction indictments?
Posted by: garcia da murderer ()
Date: October 10, 2015 02:43PM

So Fairfax County has decided to throw civil libertarians a bone by indicting Garcia or whatever the sob's name is. Convicting him will be another issue.

But when are the obstruction of justice indictments against all the county officials who assisted with the attempted coverup? Huh?

Obstruction in the Commonwealth is only a Class 1 misdemeanor unless it includes the element of threatening the investigating party, which means it's on a par with traffic tickets.

At least part of the reason Morrogh turned over the Geer case to the Feds was because obstruction at the Federal level is a felony punishable by 5 years in prison, and he was probably hoping they could force more cooperation out of the recalcitrant FCPD because they had a bigger stick.(Of course, what actually happened was the Feds sat with their thumbs up their asses and the case just sat in the office for several months.)

Another part is that Morrogh has no investigators of his own; he's wholly reliant on the FCPD to do his legwork, and if he pisses them off they might be a little less cooperative with his office, which means fewer convictions.

Understand that but how does that serve the police, who make the arrests, why would they arrest some one then not cooperate with the Commonwealth?

The main problem is that Fairfax Is a County with 1.1 million people and has a out dated BOS form of useless government with NO ONE in charge

City of Fairfax County with a elected Mayor who can Fire a Police Chief .. You've heard it before ..A Mayor Dem or GOP, for better or worse someone the people can fire every 4 years.

The way Fx co has been going, If a Mayor did the same job that the "toothless dog" the BOS has been doing , they will be fired every 4 years!

And the biggest bitch Keeping it from happening . A name for a new City..

Which would be the Largest in Va and about the 10th largest in the USA and would keep more tax revenue instead of sending it down to Richmond for the state to spend.

Maybe somebody can explain this to me. I have followed this case off and on and even read some of the documents released/posted to the internet by the cops after they were ordered released by the judge.

I can not figure out what was in the IA file that was so important that Morrogh had to have before deciding if the shooting was bad or not. If you look at the shooting alone, it looked bad and should have been enough evidence to take to a grand jury.

So what was in the IA file? Nobody has ever said publicly.

I think it was all smoke and mirrors by Morrogh's office. I do not think they wanted to do anything about and punted it to the feds using the whole IA case file as an excuse. Morrogh probably thought he had washed his hands until public outrage did not go away.

You people of Fairfax County are really idiots.

Who do you think stands between you and the drug selling, child moesting, store robbing, grandparent murdering scum of the earth.

Officer Torres deserves a medal. I wish we had ten more like him. We'd clean up the county in no time.

It was made public.

What I can't figure out is why FCPD wanted to get a search warrant after they shot Greer. His cause of death was bleeding to death. He might have been saved if they went in and got him after he was shot.

I have never read anything in the paper of what was in the IA file that was keeping the commonwealth attorney from doing his job. I also did not find it yet in the 10,000 plus pages released. Since you know why don't you explain it here. The IA file had nothing to do with the shooting and was just an excuse.

I was talking about the documents that were released to the public....talks about how the swat team wanted to go in and get Greer and some major said no. Meanwhile, he bled to death...

Number of people viewing this thread - 709, with 28 comments.

The people of Fairfax County truly don't care if their police commit murder and their local government officials obstruct justice to cover it up. Robert E. Lee is surely rolling over in his grave. I guess the county has been completely taken over by yankee carpetbaggers brought here by a monsterous federal government. Damn you Abe Lincoln.

Oh well. I guess the citizens of Fairfax County are all part of the obstruction and deserve whatever consequences result.

that's easy:

for you (non-gov citizen) NONE

for them (gov.) an edict is made from the bench immediately (judge jury and executioner) without a trial

that's Fairfax, hispanic/foreigner influenced court law (supposedly illegal in the US)

there, wasn't that easy?

From the relative lack of public interest in the case, it's pretty clear there won't be any consequences for the officers present and in-the-know who aided in the obstruction of the federal attorney or Senator Grassely.

Gov't drones care a lot more about their smug sense of superiority and cushy jobs than truth and the law.

We're waiting for Fairfax residents to give a shit. They don't.
Status: The cops could kill your brother or uncle and you'll just have to take it.
Culprits: every cop on scene, lawyer on retainer, and government employee with knowledge of the incident for the first 18 months withheld evidence from the Commonwealth Attorney and the Feds. That's serious prison time for me and you.
Nothing will happen. Get over it and move on with your life, ... just don't trust the government, certainly not this one.

FCPD told Chuck Grassley and the US Attorney to go pound sand with zero consequences.
The cops who allowed Geer to bleed out stayed out of the papers. They drove a damn tank through Geer's front door in the middle of the day. No one knows their names.
Fairfax County taxpayers paid off the family, with no pain. It was all swept under the rug nicely. The County board all won their elections. Torres got a sweet-heart deal.

I didn't know this, but I'm not surprised.

I used to work in a government research library. One of the very popular titles was "How To Lie With Statistics."

I think everyone in government has to know how to lie as a condition of employment, but that doesn't mean they can't learn to lie better!
