Major stakeholders in FCPS, such as Boosterthon, Eric Jensen, Flip Flippen and the Buck Institute may not be back until after Labor Day, and even Karen Garza will not want to anger them by starting school without their input.

Hush.... We just it "school." It's really kiddie play time and teacher days off.

Fairfax county schools are the laughing stock of the DC area. You should hear some the jokes the other area school boards and teachers have about Fairfax county schools.

Govt employees AKA as "Sand Crabs" WANT the next week off for more fun in the sun at the beach. The kids will have to wait for school and will get out next 4th of July if we have another bad winter.. Yikes Such Good policy from FCPS.
